Trump’s MAGA Casts Her Spell. . .
Millions of Americans think MAGA stands for Make America Great Again in spite of the best efforts of presidential counsel Kellyanne Conway to educate them.
Ignoring Conway’s conservative creative skills, Fake News Fools make citizens still look at MAGA and fail to see Kellyanne as the very personification of the ancient conservative concept. And that’s a shame. Consider her efforts:
- While defending the president’s singular Inaugural crowd-estimating gifts, Conway allowed the uninitiated a glimpse of Alternative Facts, the very building blocks of MAGA power. Yet the Fake News Fools failed to report truly what they were told they saw.
- This week Conway recalled the MAGA history of the Bowling Green Massacre. As no less a Fake News source than The New York Times reported, Conway told MSNBC Hardball Host Chris Matthews “I bet it’s brand new information to people that President Obama had a six-month ban on the Iraqi refugee program after two Iraqis came here to this country, were radicalized and were the masterminds behind the Bowling Green massacre,” she said. “Most people don’t know that because it didn’t get covered.” Predictably Fake News failed to report that seminal event on the flimsy excuse it didn’t happen, and was completely clueless about where it didn’t happen among the many places named Bowling Green.
Obviously frustrated by her inability to truly communicate MAGA, Conway soldiers on. As she tweeted “It's called class, grace, deep breath.”
Now The Wise say “Never pick a fight with anyone who buys ink by the barrel,” and that must include those who buy mascara and eyeliner the same way. But Conway’s steadfast efforts should not go unrewarded.
Students of Rome and Latin know the ancient language was written in all capital letters. So in Latin, MAGA is a word with a special meaning.
It means “witch.” Or “sorceress.”
Pay Conway the courtesy of remembering that when next of MAGA she speaks.
