Trump Kills, Press Ignores

President Donald Trump has killed and the Faking Press is ignoring it.

No surprise there. As President Trump explained in Thursday’s hour-plus news conference “. . . many of our nation's reporters and folks will not tell you the truth. . .

As the FBI would confirm, the president didn’t murder a person. When this president does something, he does it bigly, so he is not messing around with run-of-the-mill homicide. No sir.

President Trump has killed an entire literary genre. That is something no president has done  before, making it “unpresidented.” It took President Trump less than a month of blows before delivering the coup de grace Thursday.

When the president told an almost punch-drunk mob of reporters “It's a great honor to be with you. Thank you. Thank you very much, thanks,” the battered corpse on the briefing room floor belonged to Satire.

Satire, says vocabulary.com, is “a way of making fun of people by using silly or exaggerated language.” It’s been around for centuries because it was always possible to write something sillier or more exaggerated than public figures would say themselves.

No more.

Try topping these:

  • I know what's good and bad. I'd be a pretty good reporter, not as good as you. But I know what's good. I know what's bad. And when they change it and make it really bad, something that should be positive — sometimes something that should be very positive, they'll make okay. They'll even make it negative.”

  • I don't think there's ever been a president elected who in this short period of time has done what we've done.

  • I turn on the TV, open the newspapers, and I see stories of chaos. Chaos. Yet, it is the exact opposite. This administration is running like a fine-tuned machine, despite the fact that I can't get my Cabinet approved.

  • And then right after that, you prepare yourselves, we'll do some questions, unless you have enough questions. That's always a possibility.

Clearly, with President Trump, the possibilities are endless and he’s taken them all.
